It feel like I was posting the "Wake Me Up When September Ends" blog entry just yesterday and here we are, the summer is over and October has arrived. Normally, it's nothing to be happy about, right? Rain, dropping temperatures, more rain, winter just around the corner. Yuck? Yes, but...

Fortunately, October also means NBA basketball is back and our Raptors are back in town. To your average Raps fan, Fall is the best time of the year as it means we're back at the Air Canada Centre two days a week, at average, obsess over the away games and stay up late at night to follow the West Coast game, over analyze every single pre-season game missed shot and a turnover. It's fun, and we love it!

Former Raptor, Alan Anderson, has signed a 2-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets, multiple media outlets reported. The news was then confirmed by the player himself via twitter:
